A pewter Miriam dances and plays her timbrels which are represented by the dangling bells in each hand. As the cup is raised, her timbrels jingle against the glass. The blue/green glass squares surrounding the clear cup are reminiscent of the water which Miriam miraculously summoned in the desert. Miriam, in Hebrew, is handcut in pewter on the base of the cup.
