Each elegant cobalt blue glass dish is meant to contain one of the symbolic foods of Passover.

Handcut from pewter and affixed to the inside of each dish, is the Hebrew name of each of the foods: Betzah (hard boiled egg), Zeroah (roasted shankbone), Maror (bitter herbs), Karpas (parsley), Charoses (apple nut mixture), and Chazereth (romaine lettuce and bitter herbs).
